Rok Skool provides young people in our region the opportunity to play music with and for their peers in an authentic rock band. Rok Starz choose the songs that they play and are guided through the process by a mentor with 30+ years of teaching and performing experience. They are encouraged to work out their own parts and arrangements as much as possible using a guided discovery model which imparts authentic ownership. While learning the skills necessary to produce quality, musical performance, core values such as; accountability, integrity, compromise, collaboration. perseverance and respect are instilled at every step.
